UPDATE ON 12.10.2006. - Sorry for being late with the final version. I received many requests (including the WavPack support which is already planned) and I'm trying to fulfill them, including fixing the bugs found of course. Thanks for writing that bunch of mails, keep them coming :)
Till this time, if you found this software useful, you could only write me e-mail. Now, there's a new option, thanks to Paypal: if you'd like, you can donate by clicking the button below.
I would like to thank the click above to: sk61
The develop phase of Audiochecker version 2.0 comes to the end, which will support the multilingual interface among others. I would like to make this version available as many languages as possible, so I'd need your help. If you are good in some language and you have lust and time to make a translation for the software, please write to my e-mail address: opdester@freemail.hu
Sources available to work from: see download pageThanks!
Brief description about the software: the software checks the origin of APE, FLAC, SHN, WAV and LPAC files. The software can decide in most cases, whether the encoding is lossless or not (transcoded from other lossy, for example MP3 audio source). If not, the 'lossless' file is fake.
The software uses an outside method called auCDtect, developed by True-Audio Software. The percents given by Audiochecker are the result of the analysis of their software.
This software is FREEWARE. For operating correctly it needs the decoders of the file formats above and the auCDtect.EXE file. For further information please visit the following websites:
